Jonathan Budd sells a CD where he charges $7, which is definitely worth it.  Budd is a very cool guy, a great mentor, and visionary.  I truly think his intention is to help networkers.

However, I honestly haven’t come across anyone online that is actually making money with his system?  And here’s why…

While Jonathan Budd does provide some great training, he isn’t teaching his members to be LEADERS themselves!  All of his websites and marketing efforts brand “Jonathan Budd,” NOT his members!

This honestly does NOTHING for any of his members except build the “Jonathan Budd” brand…

This is NOT what network marketers should be doing.  If you seriously wish to make money in the network marketing and home based business industry, YOU have to become a LEADER yourself!  You cannot afford to be building and marketing somebody else’s brand, ie. Jonathan Budd or anyone else for that matter!

I honestly am not sure why Budd’s members would actually pay Jonathan to use a system like this just so that they can turn around and market Jonathan’s story, his brand, and build HIS list!

Maybe he’s not even teaching his members about how critical it is to build your OWN list, your own story, and your own brand? This is my main issue with Jonathan Budd’s trainings and system… in my opinion it is taking newbies who don’t know any better and telling them to market the Budd brand, which makes no sense at all and does nothing in actually moving the new member into their own leadership role.  This will NOT set a network marketer up for success.

In fact, whenever Jonathan wants to market an affiliate product or win a contest, he actually undercuts his affiliates by marketing HIS own link to his entire database which his members built!  For example, in MyLeadSystemPRO, our #1 goal is that our affiliates put as much money as possible in their pockets, so we ALWAYS focus on marketing our MEMBERS’s stories, and marketing THEIR AFFILIATE LINKS so they get paid!  Especially if they bring in new MLSP members, we make 100% certain that their new team members buy affiliate products through THEIR affiliate links, NOT A SYSTEM AFFILIATE LINK!  Whereas from what I can tell Jonathan Budd has a decent sized database that his members built for him, and he simply blasts his affiliate links all over his facebook, twitter, social media sites, and actually in his own BACK OFFICE taking hard-earned money out of his members’ pockets!!!

Do his members not understand what is going on here?

Other than this big issue, and it is a VERY big issue I have with Jonathan Budd’s system, I think he rocks and is a sharp kid when it comes to network marketing.

The product is an Energy drink (among its main components: Acai Berry, Chokeberry, Blueberry, Pomegranate, Fucodian, only few calories and sugar). The drink comes in 2 major alternatives: Pure Renew – a carbonated energy drink with vitamins and minerals added to it, Pure Revolution – their newly released energy drink with no caffeine. Some sources also announce a third product that is to be released in March and would be a sexual enhancement beverage. This announced beverage sounds as an interesting hit to the market, but we will still have to see. As for the other two products Pur3x offer, we are surely looking at a good market for an energy boost that gives you the nutritional supplements you need too. However, there is strong competition available, and we are talking about MLM marketing companies that sell similar products, not about traditional ones.

The compensation plan Pur3x deals by is quite straightforward, though it sounds a bit unrealistic. They use a 3×12 matrix (each representative sponsors 3 others on his first line, and his downline has 12 levels). The seemingly unrealistic part is that the sponsor gets bonuses for each package sold by representatives down to the 12^th line of his matrix.

Apart from the Distributors’ club (the Pure Energy Club) there is a Preferred Customer Club, which consists of the regular customers who buy one or more packages of 48 drinks monthly, without wishing to also become distributors. According to how big your own matrix is (you first switch category after 120 customers and distributors and you switch again after getting to 1,375 enrollments in your matrix), you can fall under one of the three categories available and your bonuses will also increase. Theoretically, this is how it should work. But to put this plan into practice you need strong marketing training and also good abilities to train and mentor your own distributors. Pur3x themselves strongly emphasize the need to get informed and able to train others if you want to succeed with their company. So let us see what tools they offer themselves to that respect.

The training Pur3x offers consists mainly of a set of presentations you will have to master and give yourself afterwards to your own trainees. However, this is one of the few companies which have an independent site built only for training purposes. However, the site seems to be quite new and the informative documents are still short, few, and seem to be merely overviews of the subjects available. They have, however, a live chat where operators can answer your questions, a community forum (not very active as yet, though), profiles on social and professional network sites so on so forth.

On an overall view, this company might have a lot to offer both in terms of product and compensation plan. This however is only the case with the highly motivated individuals who are ready to make the best of their MLM experience. Those are the ones who focus on new ways of marketing and, we would say most importantly, online marketing. You can actually build your business and make money, or be among the many that work for others and eventually turn bankrupt. We live nowadays the paradox of a 21^st century in turns obsessed with science and exotic religions and/or ways of living. While the MLM business is packed with health care products and strategies, it was only predictable that one of them (for starters) would try to use the paradoxical obsession we live. The company has been around since October 24^th 2009, but has only had its “soft” or “pre” launch at that date. Looking at it, the official launch they are planning will certainly be a good opportunity to party, shake hands, do some training courses and set a good spirit, but not an actual start.

However, looking at the management team, we believe they do put a lot of emphasis on this type of activities, as the managers are best known for their great public speech abilities. That being said, let’s have a look at what other experience the managers of CieAura might have.

The founder and CEO, Ken Rasner, is co-owner and President of Harmonic FM, LLC. That is, of course, the company that manufactures CieAura transparent holographic chips. Truth being said, he has won his master’s degrees in administration and music, has a good experience with network marketing companies and is the author of several Network marketing and personal improvement books.

The president – Randy Mitchell, has 22 years of corporate experience and was previously founder and CEO of two other MLM companies.

Marketing Director Marie “Ia” Jimenez has a pretty nice Marketing experience it seems, apart from her previous career as a parenting talk-show host. She has developed and implemented workshops at modeling schools and choreographed beauty pageants. She also was the International Consultant and Head Modeling Instructor for John Casablancas Modeling and Career Center / Elite Modeling Agency in Asia.

The Company Operation Officer, Al Leland, is an ex-military with the Air Force who has also “served” for 5 years as Vice President Research and Development for an Atlanta based manufacturing company.

The product CieAura are selling are the Transparent Holographic Chips™ that come in 3 different types and uses: Pure Energy, Pure Relief and Rest quiet. We hesitate to explain how these chips work for fear of not having understood it correctly ourselves. However, their function seem to be, respectively, providing more energy for the body, relieving it from pain and offering a good sleep every night.

Now, for those who ask themselves “Are CieAura chips really working, or is this a scam?” we have no answers in this review. We can only wish them good luck in deciphering the curious mélange of acupuncture, Tibetan ways of explaini ng the astral body, rocket science and post-modern imagery which CieAura use to explain how the chips work. However, for those who are asking themselves: “ Can I create my MLM business within this company? Are there any chances for me to make money?” we can say that this type of product is indeed new and might have a good market. As we stated in the beginning of this review, CieAura answers to the (at least emotional) needs of an entire century, so – why not.

The compensation plan CieAura is offering is built built upon a two-team (left and right leg) structure, modified according to their own needs. The bonuses are offered for personally referred customers , no matter where they are positioned. The matching bonus comes for the team commissions of the marketers placed below your front line, down to 7 levels. These bonuses will vary of course, according to their own number of referred customers, thus encouraging team work and training activities . However, we were unable to find any sort of training, no matter how much research we have made. Given the fact that the launching in March also has some training activities and workshops included, we might still be hoping that this feature will be added to the company’s offers on a regular basis after the expected launch.

As you may know already or maybe even experienced yourself, simply putting your money, efforts, time and friends up for grabs to a new company will not actually turn you overnight into a successful MLM entrepreneur. Also, the delivery time might be an issue with only few shipping stores available at the moment, not to mention that having to choose from a limited list of brands for each product might get a bit annoying. However, when you register over 1.000 users on your first day as a business you probably don’t need to prove you have a good market anymore. My Harvest America certainly does not.

The compensation plan My Harvest America offers is based upon a 3×8 matrix, with 8 levels and 3 representatives each sponsor may place on his first level. There are two types of membership, Shopper and Super Shopper, each with its own monthly fee and bonuses. Both types of members, may get a percent bonus on each rep plus a matching percent bonus on their reps’ reps down to the fifth level. The difference is that a shopper will have that percentage set to 10, while a super shopper will have it set to 20. Winning in this system is, of course, a matter of building the best team possible and finding the best methods to keep it working and productive along the way. But do MHA actually offer the education you need for that?

The training section on My Harvest America site is nowhere to be found, as is usually the case with many brand new MLM companies’ sites. Looking at their library, we will only find a brief My Harvest America Advertising Guideline, which focuses mostly on what a HVA marketer should not do when advertising in order not to interfere with the image of the company. You can also download My Harvest America Grocery Q & A document and that’s just about it. The active support HVA offer to their marketers narrows down to the National conference calls they organize, encouraging everyone to “bring a guest”. Looking at the matter, it seems that if you want to join MHA and be successful, you will have to work on your own online marketing education and also train your team yourself. All being said, My Harvest America looks like a boosting company going for an old and tested concept, but not yet having convincing Online Marketing facilities and insight. It may seem that the first to enroll in a starting business like this are also the biggest winners. Many network marketers buy MLM leads lists that are supposed to provide fresh quality leads. There are advertisers all over the internet claiming to offer the best leads. Unfortunately many of these so called fresh quality MLM lead companies can not back up their claims. Recently one particular company was selling double opt-in leads. Double opt-in means the email address of the lead was verified to be a real email address. When running an email campaign to this lead list it was discovered that up to 25% of the leads were not double opt-in and in fact were fake leads. When you are spending money for leads you expect to get a lead that is real and worth contacting.

Not Good Resources

Another problem with MLM leads companies is the way they obtain their leads in the first place. Many companies use online surveys as a way to get leads. They usually pay the person a small fee to fill out a survey and then their contact information is resold as a lead. Suppose you intend to build a large team of network marketers and you want quality hard working entrepreneurs to place in your business.
